The Mini Golf Course

So I was at Ridgeland yesterday, and I was thinking. What should I do for my blog next. Beside me, some of my friends were talking about mini golf. And my mind went to work. Who dosen't like mini golf? How every hole was different. Sometimes its a waterfall. Sometimes its a mountain. Heck, sometimes its a dragon setting a castle on fire. And I thought, isn't that life? Think about it. Sometimes its a smooth and easy putt. Like, when you first get to the course. Sometimes it kind of toppsy-turvy like the fourth or fifth putt. But sometimes its just crazy. I have a friend who is adopted. He said that he dosen't understand why his parents didn't want him, and that he deals with this struggle daily. I have a friend who's parents got into a fight and one of them was killed. She was constantly thrown around between her family members. She didn't know what to do. We could go on and on about how our lives could be crazy, but that wouldn't make the hole, would it? In mini golf, when you miss this hole, even by an inch, its dissapointing. But, you move on, pick up your ball, and go to the next challenge. You know who that reminds me of? Job. How his family, his land, his livestock, his life was taken away from him. But he never gave up, he never stopped trusting in God. We could be that way, we could be like Job, and always trust in God. We just need to get our ball and club, and try as hard as we can.
