The Simple Man

The simple man. He goes to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and then presses the "REPEAT" button. He never professes his faith. He never asks people if their spiritual life is ok. He never prays, unless he is at church. He never talks to people about God or Jesus. He blends back into society like he never went to church. Like he never was a Christian. It's like he puts on a Halloween costume when he leaves church. Are we like that sometimes? Wait, let me rephrase that. We ARE like that sometimes. All of us have done this, don't feel ashamed. Now, this dosen't justify it, but we do it. Does that mean we can't change? Um, no. We can always change, we just have to try and make our efforts worthwhile. Does this mean we might have to make drastic changes? Maybe. Does this mean we might lose some friends? If you can't get some of your friends to listen to why you are changing, quite possibly. But wouldn't it be worth it? Think about it. To not have to worry about lieing to all your friends at church and otherwise. I was like that once, but I changed, and yes it was VERY hard. But it was so tottaly worth it. So, what will you do? Will you try to change, or be satisfyed with being a tottaly different person on Sundays and Wednesday nights? The choice, of course, is yours.
